One of the best books I’ve read in a really long time. This book was filled with a touching story that was about love, just that – love. Each character’s point of view was extremely believable to me and I really felt that the author got the character’s thoughts, emotions and personality exactly right. Each character felt different when I was reading their story, they didn’t sound the same at all, they had a richness and a soul to me. Even the partner, Alex seemed so real to me in how he was described. That is how good this book is! It brought me laughter and tears and heartbreak. I wished I could open it back up and read it all over again when I finished the last page. A keeper for sure. Highly recommended read!

This is a great book. I love the story line and can’t believe the book was rejected even 5 years ago. Not the usual genre of book I would read but I actually liked it alot. Glad I took a chance on reading it. You won’t be sorry.

BUTTERFLY TATTOO by author Deidre Knight is a powerful and beautiful story about second chances after devastation has happened in one’s life. Rebecca O’Neill and Michael Warner both have scars from the past and so does Michael’s daughter, Andrea. Deep scars that have their lives immobilized. Together they fight their own adversities and find strength and encouragement from each other as they step forward into uncharted waters.

Deidre Knight has a great sense of understanding emotions and she breathes life into characters that I won’t soon forget. BUTTERFLY TATTOO, a story of never giving up, has given me more insight to understanding difficult issues that are out there in the world. And she has given me more understanding of how much people are suffering inside as they face each day. Deidre’s great imagery, story tension, and way with words make this book a page turner!

I read this one because I love, love her parallel series. That was just an amazing set of books! I figured it’d be good. And boy oh boy was it ever!! Holy Cow, it was on heck of an emotional roller coaster of a read. So utterly and completely heart breaking, yet so full of all the hope and love you could want. I absolutely loved this book! It is a story of overcoming grief from the loss of a partner, and that of a gruesome attack. Both the h/h have a lot of healing to do, and I love how they do that together. And the sweetest thing of all, is it’s the hero’s daughter that brings the two together initially. Definitely one to read.
